When Replacing Factory Radio & Retaining OnStar® Model Number Vehicle/Notes
Vehicles equipped with Bose® N/A 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora
(1) These vehicles have a premium Bose® amplifier that only accepts 2 channel audio inputs. The aftermarket radio will not fade, however it will still continue to balance. OnStar® volume can be controlled via the steering wheel audio controls. The CM1 chime module is not required when using the Bose® amplifier. If you are not utilizing the Bose® amplifier, then the OS-2 and CM1 interfaces are required. (2) Only use if the Bose® amplifier is eliminated. The C2R-GM24 will retain the warning chimes and provide a +12 volt accessory output. (3) This interface does not replace the factory amplifier. The factory amplifier must be retained and working in order for the C2A-GM24 to work properly. (4) Just like factory stereo system, the warning chimes will play through front left RCA output of interface. Turning on rear entertainment controls (if equipped) will make rear outputs of interface play second audio source. (5) If the vehicle has a 6 Disc Indash CD changer and not an external CD changer, then the vehicle must have a factory external XM receiver installed for the AAI-GM12 to work. (6) Only for 2004 and newer vehicles. (7) Without XM receiver installed.

2002 Oldsmobile Aurora Location: Trunk. If radio has CD/Aux button set dip switches to GM XM mode, else set switches to GM Class 2. AB-GM10
All Vehicles  If your vehicle is equipped with a factory CD changer, you must disconnect it in order to be able to install the Interface. You will lose the use of the factory CD changer to gain use of your iPod.
GM  1) 1995-1999 Radios with built in CD player (Except Corvette) are NOT compatible with the Interface because they do not have CD changer control functions. 2) The Interface is currently not compatible with any factory external audio source such as: XM tuner, Any CD player or CD changer, or Cassette player. These devices must be disconnected during the installation and will no longer function. You will lose the use of these devices to gain use of your iPod. 3) Buick and Oldsmobile: Requires GM factory data cable Part # 12344003 if not pre-wired in trunk.
