I just purchased a new stereo for my 2005 Ford Explorer XLT. Have located 12v constant, 12v switch, ground, all speaker, dimmer and power antenna wires and have 5 wires remaining. My stereo cuts off, bluetooth is cutting in, does not retain radio station presets or clock settings. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would like to find a diagram for the factory stereo harness on the vehicle with color codes and wire detination (function). I cut the plugs off the harness (big mistake) and all I have left is the colors. I have check the wires using a Fluke digital multimeter. I am at a lose for action in fear of smoking something. All suggestions are pleasantly welcome. Note, I do not have factory sub woofers or amp.

Well one thing is for certain, your constant 12v is NOT constant.
