Does anyone have Alarm remote start wiring information for the 2009 Santa Fe

12 Volts

red (40A)

ignition switch, 6 pin plug, pin 5

Second 12 Volts

pink (40A)

The BCM (Body Control Module) is under the driver dash, behind the fuse box.

Power Unlock

gray/black (double pulse)

driver kick, brown 24 pin plug, pin 19 or BCM, 26 pin plug, pin 7

The BCM (Body Control Module) is under the driver dash, behind the fuse box. Need to use the power unlock wire and both the factory alarm disarm wire and unlock detection wire in order for the doors to unlock.

Lock Motor

orange

5 wire

driver kick or fuse box, gray 18 pin plug, pin 18

Driver Unlock Motor

blue

5 wire

driver kick or relay box, 11 pin plug, pin 10

The relay box is under the driver dash, above the accelerator pedal.

Passenger Unlock Motor

Factory Alarm Arm

BROWN / orange

driver kick, brown 24 pin plug, pin 5 or BCM, 26 pin plug, pin 8

The BCM (Body Control Module) is under the driver dash, behind the fuse box. Meter this wire while turning the key in the driver door key cylinder.

Factory Alarm Disarm

pink and gray (double pulse)

driver kick, brn 24 pin plug, pins 6, 4 or BCM, 26 pin plug, pins 21, 6

The BCM (Body Control Module) is under the driver dash, behind the fuse box. Meter these wires while turning the key in the driver door key cylinder. Need to use the power unlock wire and both the factory alarm disarm wire and unlock detection wire in order for the doors to unlock. The gray wire is the unlock detection wire. It will meter ground when the actuator is in the unlock position.

The data link connector is under the driver dash. Also found at the BCM, 16 pin plug, pin 6. The BCM (Body Control Module) is under the driver dash, behind the fuse box.

Brake Wire

GREEN/ black (2.7L) or gray/black (3.3L)

brake pedal switch

Also found GREEN/ black (+) in the passenger kick, red 20 pin plug, pin 10.

Parking Brake

green or gray/orange

parking brake switch or BCM, 26 pin plug, pin 23

The BCM (Body Control Module) is under the driver dash, behind the fuse box.

Horn Trigger

yellow/black

horn switch or driver kick, green 24 pin plug, pin 20

Also found gray/black (-) at the BCM, 22 pin plug, pin 17. The BCM (Body Control Module) is under the driver dash, behind the fuse box.

Wipers

green (L), pink (H)

wiper switch, black 14 pin plug, pins 2 and 1

Also found in the passenger kick, green 18 pin plug, pins 8 and 7.

Left Front Window (Up/Down)

pink - white

power window main switch, 14 pin plug, pins 6 and 5

Right Front Window (Up/Down)

green - gray

driver kick, door harness

Left Rear Window (Up/Down)

brown - pink

driver kick, door harness

Right Rear Window (Up/Down)

ORANGE / black - blue

driver kick, door harness

Sun Roof (Open/Close)

orange - blue

sunroof module, gray 10 pin plug, pins 5 and 4

When triggering these wires, you need to supply 12V to gray at the sunroof module, gray 10 pin plug, pin 3, to turn on the sunroof module.

The information in that chart for the unlock wire includes unnecessary timewasters.

Use the search feature here and look for some of my older posts about this.....2007-2009 Sante Fe are all the same, so if you find a post about an '07 or '08, you can use that too.

Anyone have problems getting the alarm to disarm on the 2009? I metered the drivers door key for wires to go to ground when you manually lock and unlock the door but these are not arming the alarm or disarming it.

I got everything working but the alarm.
