my brother inlaw has a 2005 nissan altima im going to put a viper 5701 into and im reading the tech sheet for the 2006 on this site (because there isnt an 05 sheet) and im assuming they are the same.   The tech sheet for the locks refers to the car having an anti-pinch system on just the left door or on both doors   how do you tell which one it has ??
I do mainly ford, kia and suzukis and some GM   just trying to avoid a surprise as ive never done a nissan

Yes, 2005 and 2006 should be the same.
The "anti-pinch" stuff.....look at the driver's power window switch. Check to see if only the driver's window has the AUTO feature, or if both front windows (the more expensive Altimas) have it.
Better yet, forget all that junk......Google for "how to get nissan doorlocks at BCM" and save a lot of time.
