Ok this is why I am confused. I saw that plug pictured, with the red clip on it. But none of the wire colors match the diagram, or that photo for that matter. This is a barebones v6 work truck, maybe it had different wiring?

I'll see if I can get a picture of the ign harness and post it on here so you guys can see. I'll try to get one later today or maybe tomorrow.

did you try to meter them
the accessory wire will show voltage when you turn on the switch. then when you turn it to start position it should loss voltage. then return after started
ignition will read a constant voltage all the way through the on to start.
i look and see nothing different for the 08. are you positive you do not have an 07 classic that would have different wiring.
if its the new body style it should have the same wiring we have been giving you

I mistakenly said it was an 08. It is a 2007, but not the classic. Its the new body style. Did 07 and 08 have different wiring? All the other wire colors from the diagrams were correct, but the ignition harness is different for some reason. Could it be different because its a base model work truck package?

the pin out should be the same as the manual states for the bypass.
grab a DMM and check it out
pin 1 empty
pin 2 12v Constant (Should show 12v all the time)
pin 3 ignition (Should show 12v when in the on and start positions)
pin 4 Accessory (Should show 12v when in the on positions and 0v when in start position)
pin 5 data (Passlock wire changes voltage according to ignition switch status.)
To identify Passlock wire, test wire voltage in every position:
-Keysense ≈12 VDC.
-Accessory ≈0 VDC.
-ON ≈4.3 VDC.
-Start ≈3 VDC.
pin 6 5v Reference

meter your wires to be certain but ign is pink acc is brown, we have never interfaced with the resistors on 2nd start wre all we use is a blank circle plus key program it and place it in a universla box, hook up ign acc power ground neg lights and brake shutdown and tach at injector harness, very simple vehicle to do
