Ok, I have searched and the best I have found is some reference about the wiring schematic. Is the vehicle wiring for the 03 mini cooper the same as an 03 BMW 3 series? Installing a remote start and would like at least some guidence so I dont have to hunt down and test ever wire.

Thanks

Jack

Yes. Use a 556UW with the Valet key and treat the Acc (Violet) as a second ignition. Doors triggers and locks are in the body control module.

The bulldog info has some mistakes.
I think they might have the lock and unlock wire colours the the wrong way round, TEST.
Extend the lock pulse timing for comfort (total) close.
Don't use the brake light feed they mentioned, use BLACK/ blue or BLACK/ green in a floor loom, the BROWN / grey is data only/variable voltage.
Tach wire is probably black pin 9 on the OBD ll/data socket.
Hatch trigger wire might be WHITE/ brown*.
Hatch release, if fitted grey/green, pos, 5 amp fuse to relay.
*If this vehicle follows BMW wiring exactly, you will need to diode the 12+ supply probably RED / yellow at the hatch light, 1N4004 in line, band towards light bulb.
