i just installed a remote starter into a 2012 Fiat 500, and Im unable to disarm factory alarm.Ive done about 10 Fiats now but this is the first one with security. havent been able to find any info on it. Anyone figured this problem out?

Hello,

Please let me know if you're working with a dball for remote starter. I'm in the Directed develop team, so I can help you with this feature, of course if your remote starter includes dball.

I just installed two remote starters in two different Fiats 500 today. I did my installs with AutoStart remote Starter and DbAll from Directed. Remote start works great both on the automatic and manual Fiats. But the DbAll does not disarm the factory alarm on Unlock and Remote Start. Didn't find any info on the web about that. My clients will come back in one week, hope I'll find an answer to my problem before that.

If anybody could help that would be appreciated.

I installed an automate 6.2 with a DBALL as well and couldnt disarm the alarm. Only way could get it to disarm was to bury a key

how does that disarm the alarm?
