speed control, disable over 70 mph

have a 2010 chevy silverado and neeed to prevent go faster than 70 miles p/h how can i do to make it work?

wire and custom build the way it is.

You can look in to a "two step" rev limiting device and trigger it off of speed, which may be as simple as using a frequency switch on the VSS.
This would cause the motor to stutter, but not die above 70 mph.
