Oh, before people use this to a guide for a 2006, there are wiring differences between the 2003-2006 versions and the 2007-2009 4Runners...
There are also differences between the engine options, for instance I had to go to the car's computer (ECU or ECM) behind the glovebox to get to the tach wire.
So please please look at the bulldog site or the directwire stuff for 2003-2006 specifics, but this is 90 percent accurate for a 2006 and a Viper 4704v
I'm stating this just in case somebody else finds this page from google (like I did)

where did you mount your control boxes. I see a open spot between the firewall and e-brake.

in the early listing it says that the H3-2 RED / white is not used. then later it says that H3-2 and H3-9 RED / black get hooked to the WHITE/ blue from the ignition. what is correct?
