Exactly I was wth when he stuck the whole wire thru the interior and didnt use a gronment

After non use of the grommet I was sure he was going to drill through the gas tank.
And what a waste of time. There's nearly always somewhere around the rear wheel arch for a ground point without having to go to that trouble.
Test before boxing up.
