I have just installed a Pioneer avh-x2500bt in my 2002 Toyota Tundra, and now I plan to install a pioneer nd-bc6 rear view camera. I am going to wire the camera up to the reverse lights, but is there any way that I can also wire them up to a switch, so that I can turn the camera on without being in reverse?
Thanks.

Insert diodes (1N400x) in each line - ie, from 12V rev switch and 12V switch to the camera, diode line end towards the camera +12V.

Thank you so much. I'm sorry for the late reply, no excuse. It turns out that the pioneer stereo allows you to turn on the camera while you are driving with a simple button on the menu screen. I just connected the pioneer's reverse wire to my truck's reverse wire in the kick panel, and connected the camera's power to a 12volt accessory source.
Thanks again for the advice. I'll be sure to remember it in the future.
