I wired up a dball2 into my 2013 VW GLi autobahn with kessy and configured it in RSR mode (3x lock = remote start) and everything works fine with the exception of finding the clutch wire.
I used this site called wirecolor.com and the wire listed is incorrect (PURPLE / black on black bcm connector, i know the site actually says brown bcm connector but after a quick phonecall the tech support agent confirmed that it's incorrect and it's actually the black connector).
I double checked the dball2 and the output does light the test light (attached to +12v) when attempting to remote start meaning it does ground while remote starting.
The system actually starts the car once the clutch pedal is depressed. Does anyone know if the clutch pedal wire is located at any 3 of the bcm connectors? Thank you for your time and any help is much appreciated.

Not exactly sure of this but double check your application on the Xpresskit wiring guide, I think you'll find MORE than 1 clutch switch position you might have to go to.

I was actually using the wiring guide from fortin since xpresskits uses only automatic transmission wiring guides.
The xpresskits wiring guide only shows you the brake wire needed for 12v out simulating the pressing of the brake pedal while initiating the remote start sequence.
I really need that clutch ground wire so i can simulate pushing in the clutch while remote starting.

Have you looked at Xpresskit and downloaded the install guide?
It separates manual and auto.

Maybe you can direct me to where you found that install guide? For some reason when i try to pull up the install guide for RSR mode using my firmware it only lists the automatic transmission.

I don't see anything listed for the manual transmission application. Thank you and your help is much appreciated.

When you look at the Xpresskit home page, top right a US flag.
Click it then you will get a regional choice, select and save Europe.
Then go for the 2013 VW Golf 7, either key page 5, or PTS, page 7.
The trick is that European cars get done a year earlier.
I often fail to find vehicles in one that are listed in the other.

I looked at the install guide for the golf 7 and it is different from the mk6 gli. In the GLi you can't see any physical clutch switch wires from the inside of the vehicle.
However, i came across a different install guide for the dball2 that mentions pin30 of the brown bcm connector as being the clutch ground (-) wire. When i have access to an indoor garage i will attempt to use this wire and i will report back to let you know if it's successful or not.
Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Sorry it didn't help, I thought as a 13 it would be a Mk 7 not a 6.
