Have you checked the wiring at the speakers? You could make your connections there if necessary.

No I have not I was trying to keep everything in the dash. The fact that the wires are not the same color what's bothering me. I never ran into this situation. Can the car manufacturer run the wrong wires in a car??

I wouldn't call different color wires the wrong wires, but manufacturers have been known to make changes many times, hence always verify wiring before making any connections. In this situation, I would go to each speaker.
BTW, is this a Canadian model or an American model or ??

Where was the vehicle originally purchased? In the U.S. or Canada or somewhere else?
