H3/RED / white to white constant please.
Did you insert then change the polarity control 10amp fuse in the alarm brain, i.e. set NEG (-) to blue wire or set POS (+) to RED / black?
Test before boxing up.

Seven Blinks = Manual Transmission Mode

If your Civic has an automatic transmission, program the Viper to Auto Trans - Menu 3, Item 1, Option 2.

You listed H2/2 BLACK/ WHITE (-) NEUTRAL SAFETY INPUT as not used.  It should be connected as follows :

With Auto Trans = Chassis Ground

With Manual Trans = Parking Brake (-)

Soldering is fun!

I have to say both of your problems are RTFM linked.
Does this vehicle have an immobiliser?

Yes in the box that the 555i came in, again all related to RTFM.

Here is a link to the 555i install guide, in case yours' is lost.  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/file.asp?ID=1269

As for the Civic's wires, here is some info from iDatalink :

Ignition ~ ~     Pin 6 Yellow/Black (+)   @ Ignition switch transponder plug
Data ~ ~         Pin 2  RED / Blue (DATA)         @ Ignition switch transponder plug

Keysense info from ReadyRemote :

Keysense       RED / white (-)    @ factory alarm plug above driver kick, green 16 pin plug, pin 12

The 555i Blue R/S Input wire connects to the Viper 5704 Dark Blue (-)  200mA Status Output.

Soldering is fun!
