A had to replace radio/cd in my 04 Saturn Ion. The radio worked previously but doesn't now. I know it is plugged into the back of the new radio but still no signal. Where do I start to look for answers as to why it doesn't work.

If the antenna cable is plugged into the radio then it is safe to assume your new radio has a problem.

Did you purchase the appropriate wiring harness? If so, did you connect the blue wire of that connector to the blue or blue white wire of your new radio?

1st Thanks for the response from both of you.
1.Both harnesses are correct (as far as I know) The harness from the car is original and the connector to the radio cd was attached.
2. "Mr. Idiot" a question, please? The harness in the car has no Blue,blue/white wire on it. The only empty wires on the harness are orange, orange black. I assume they are illumination. There is a warning on the Sony plug that the blue/white wire is for a remote. If so,then problem is with the unit. Your opinion?

Take a few feet of 18Ga or so wire and strip 1/2 inch or so off of one end. Insert that stripped end into the antenna socket on the back of your deck. Be careful to not push the wires beyond where the antenna end would go. Does it catch stations now?

There is no antenna adapter for that vehicle. It has a standard Motorola end on the antenna.
