remote shell/case, viper 7641v

I apoligize if this question is posted in the wrong section. Noob lookimg for some help. The case/shell to my Viper 7641v cracked over the weekend. The remote works fine but i cant keep both halves shut (currently have them together with clear tape). Can someone just buy the shell/case (no internals) or do you hvae to a complete replacement remote and have it configured to your vehicle? I really dont feel like spending ~30 for a complete replacement remote if they offer OEM or aftermarket shell/case for less? Thanks 02EX

Check places like ebay for remote cases. They do exist.

i dont think ive seen alarm manufactures sell only the case/shell, unlinke car manufacturers who do offer cases for OEM remote, but the closest think you might be able to find is a case for your remote, if it can be somehow secured and you can put a cover.

But for 15 bucks i would rather get a new remote.

I had no luck searching on ebay for an OEM or aftermarket replacement shell/case. Before i posted on this forum i was on ebay and amazon....... No luck.
