I am looking for a plunger type brake pedal switch which will provide 12v to brake lights when pressed but will also terminate 12v feed to transmission torque converter when pressed. Do they make such a switch?
I guess the switch would have to provide 12v to trans in closed position and would terminate the connection when pressed and transfer the 12v feed to the brake light circuit.
Any help in finding such a switch appreciated.

BMW did it on the E46 Cabriolet in Europe with the DSG gearbox, open circuit to allow engine start, close circuit for brake lights.

The brake switch from most any GM from the mid 70's to 80's that had cruise control should work. Earlier years will have .250 inch terminals, easier to terminate. You can always use a SPDT relay, using the common and normally closed contacts.
