I have an issue with a wiring harness for aftermarket headlamps on a 2012 Passat B7. The harnesses wire both the DRL and the normal driving light to an LED strip but as a result there are diodes on both lines to ensure there is no positive feed going back to the body control module on either line. The diodes both seem to provide 150 ohm or so resistance which dims the DRL strip to nearly invisible. I am looking for any suggestion I can get on how to replace the diodes while ideally keeping both modes active however. Pictures coming around lunch time as I'm at the office presently.

Not that I can see 150R being in series with any power device (DRLs or LED DRLs) - if you are using a DMM etc resistance range to measure a diode's resistance, that is not a valid measurement! - but if it were a low power source, the use it to control relays that supply power to whatever is needed.
