Hello all, I have a Rockford Fosgate T2D2 15" I am wanting to build a new box for. It's currently in the Fosgate recommended (slot port) enclosure and it is just not enough for me. I am looking to build an band pass box ported into the rear seat through the arm rest hole. It will be going into a 03 honda accord sedan. I have a Mac so I can not load any of the box calculator programs. I was hoping someone could give me some advice and or dimensions on how to pull this off. From what I understand the box needs to be tuned around 48-50hz. Any information you can provide will help!!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

The Irony.
Anyways, why bandpass? Maybe just a redesign of a ported enclosure would still get you where you want to be, without losing bandwidth

Many possible reasons why you are not happy with your current setup.
Need to know information.
Brand and model of the following:
- amp
- head unit
- rca cables
- wiring kit (including length and guage)
- sound dampening
We also need to know what material your current enclosure is constructed from.
Direction enclosure is facing (license plate or engine)
Your previous experience with building materials (wood, fiberglass, etc.)
Owership or access to tools
My personal experience would be to put an amp with a rms almost double the recommended rms power of your sub. Load the sub into a rear facing, 3.5 cubic foot sealed enclosure. Set the gain via dimm method to prevent clipping.
