Hello,

My name is Chadwick and I work for an ignition interlock company (Smart Start Inc). We have a vehicle coming in next week and we are trying to get a headstart on the installation. For our system, we need to find the following wires only:

12VDC+ Constant

IGN

Starter - Our unit cuts the starter circuit until the test is positive then internal relays open the circuit. So the starter wire must likely be inline with the starter solenoid.

Headlights, Hazards, or Parking lamps - We can utilize a singular positive or negative signal, also we can build relay or diod packs if necessary

Horn - likely this is negative but we can use a positive signal

Our company hasn't encountered a newer Volvo and any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Sorry Chadwick but if I were working in your job I'd try it for myself first. It's called owning a DMM, test light etc.
I did a tracker and immobiliser on a new 2 Series BMW last week and yes they've moved all the wiring around with new colours but you just keep on until you find it.

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
