I feel really dumb asking this question. But is it possible to run 2 amplifiers outputs in series?
Heres the thing, I have 2 12" subs dual coil that can be dropped to 2 ohms (lowest). I have an amp for each sub that will perform maximum power output at 1 ohm.
How would I wire this to get maximum power or am I stuck with the subs being at 2 ohms.

are the subs dual 4 ohm or 2 ohm voice coil? you say the lowest you can wire it is 2 ohms, but its not clear if you mean each sub can be wired down to 2 ohms or if that is the total of both subs being wired together at 2 ohms?
some amps can be combined together, if they are it will say that they are "strapable". if it doesnt say that your amp can be strapped with another amp then definitely dont try to wire the outputs of the amps together.
