I have a 2014 Ram Ecodiesel with push button start and a factory remote starter.

I am looking to add a Viper smart start to the truck.

I believe I need the VSS3001 which apparently comes with the DBALL bypass included in the package?? Can anyone confirm this please?

Will I need any extra modules such as the T-Harness thchc3 etc or is the VSS3001 kit all I need?

T-Harnesses make the job easier but are not "required" - see installation guide.

The system comprises of a dball2pro and the smartstart module.

You may need an authorized dealer/installer to activate the smartstart.
