I am looking for suggestions on a relay that is activated by 12v and can be used to control a 120V 20a load. It will be to enable an electric water heater in an RV. The circuit currently is protected by a 20a CB. I want to add a remote on/off capability by installing the 12v switch to set/reset the relay.
Specific part numbers or we sites would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!
John

Sir,
Thanks for the response and pointing me in the right direction. One other question would be do you know of one that would do the same but handle 30 amps? I am wondering if the 20 AMP may be too close to the operating current and cause the contacts to burn out.
Your opinion and suggestions are welcomed!
John

I believe the RIB24P30 but check the specs to be sure. I am also sorry the last one I recommended is only 10 amp but rib makes many and should have what you want.

Thanks for the additional information. The RIB12P30 will meet my needs. I really do appreciate the help!
