Hello friends ,

I am installing Viper remote start 4105V + dball2 on 2011 Nissan Versa regular key ignition , no OEM alarm .

D2D , done by now

Locking is as usual . Strangely , I must push 5-6 times to unlock .

IMHO , it is unusual ...

Is this a programming issue ...

Thanks for answering .

How are you controlling the locks? Are you hardwired to the BCM? Or are you going over data? If your going over data have you set the Dball2 for type 1 locks?

Well if you have programmed the dball2 for type 1 locks and the issue occurs regardless of circumstance, other than testing the W2W lock function of the dball2 to find where the fault lies the only recourse is to hardwire lock control to the BCM and disable door locks over data in the dball2.
Also you can test/try changing to type 2 locks as well.
I'm assuming the viper responds to the remote on the first try with chirps and/or light flashes.

Hello catback  ,

Lock works OK ,  parking lghts , no horn .

Unlock  pulse parking lights , no horn , no driver door unlock priority when I push unlock on remote for only 1 time .

2 times = no result .

I must push unlock 5-6 times , and all doors unlock .

Thanks for answering, rcavictor.

Make sure driver priority unlock is turned off on the 4105v and that unlock pulse count is one. (default settings essentially)
Try turning off driver priority unlock (in the dball2).
Try changing lock type setting.
Try W2W instead of D2D, you can test the lock/unlock function prior to committing and making all connections.

Hello friends ,

By now unlocking is a 2 pulse move . NO driver door priority .

I reread 4105v Quick Reference Install Guide and 2 menus .

Menu 1 , feature 4 DL duration is now 2 = 3.5 sec.

Menu 1 . feature 5 DL pulse is now 2 = double pulse

Owner says it is almost OK .

Thanks for answering, rcavictor.
