I have been burned with a couple sets of low quality side post terminals of which the threads fail either rolling or stripping.
I am an industrial maintenance tech/machinist of more than 30 years and I know better than to over tighten.
With that said I even had one set of gold plated threads roll in a lead bore.
I am running a Odyssey Extreme battery now with brass terminals.
Are there any "Known" best quality terminals?
Thanks

I have had the same happen to me too. I now throw away the terminal bolt and use a stud and nut 3/8, 16.tpi. No more problems

Thanks,
I did find out the other day that the Deka battery I have has a steel threaded insert, which explained how a brass stud would strip in a lead bore.
When I seen that it kind of explained things.
