The info that was with the sub looks to be sort of small amount of cubic foot air space to me. Has anybody got any experience with this sub? It's the sub that says 3500 watts, 12". I want a ported box with the vented slot. Thanks.

Thanks, but that's the same info I've got. 1.5 cubic feet sounds mighty small for a ported box for a 12" sub. Even if it is on their site.

Well depending in how you want it to sound you want it between 1.2 to 1.6 ported. The manufacturer specs are accurate.

For best over all sound I'd stick with 1.2. You could actually go as low as .8 but it's not going to give you the best sound. Although sound is relative to the listener.
