This should be simple but I'm not able to get it to work.
I'm just hooking up simple lock/unlock nothing fancy,
I found the door lock relay which has 6 wires-
Yellow/Orange-constant hot
Black- Ground
Light Blue- lock switch side
Black- Unlock switch side
Gray- lock motor side
Tan- unlock motor side
from the Avital brain I have the Red power hooked up to the yellow/orange
constant hot. The Black Ground going to chassis ground
Yellow to ignition hot
but I have tried the GREEN/ Black LOCK to light blue
and Blue/Black UNLOCK to black. I get nothing, other than I can hear the RKE relays clicking. then tried the GREEN/ Black to Gray
and Blue/Black to Tan and still same thing! Ok, so what am I not doing right? is there other wires I have to hook up or what?
I'm stumped, Please Help!

I looked at the install guide for the 2101. You have to hook up 2 more wires to set the lock output polarity. The triggers to the relay in your car are (+).
grn/blk to lt blu relay unlock
violet/blk to B+ hot at all times
blu/blk to small black relay unlock
violet to B+ hot at all times.
If your car has factory RKE, the above connections will not unlock the driver's door when pushing unlock on the Avital. Report back if this is the case, and I'll help you "fix" this. It's easy, once you find the factory RKE module. I don't know where it is in a 93 Buick.
Find the Service Parts Identification Decal. It is usually in the glove box, under the console lid, or sometimes in the trunk. It has a bunch of 3-figure codes on it. "AX3" is Remote Keyless Entry.

Thanks for the quick reply,
The car does not have factory RKE, so I shouldn't have any issues there.
So I just need to hook up the violet/black and violet to constant
hot and the light blue lock to GREEN/ black lock and the black unlock
to the blue/black unlock and that should take care of it? Sweet!
Thanks, I'll go try that and get back with the results.
Oh, The RKE module on those cars was located in the trunk on the underside of the right quarter panel where the mast of the antenna is located. "kind of a weird place to put one".

Yep! That did it! Awesome! Thanks Dave!
I just had to splice the 2 violet wires that were soldered
together and had a fuse on them, onto the constant hot.
And BOOM! It worked!
The light blue and black are the lock/unlock trips respectively.
I also hooked up the yellow wire to an ignition hot for the
auto lock/unlock feature when the car is started and turned off.
I may go back later and add the park lights, horn, and trunk
release sometime down the road but for now were good to go.
Thanks again Dave.avital 2101l on 93 buick regal -- posted image.

Coolness. Glad it was easy, and I could help.
Thanks for the tip on the location of the RKE module in these cars. Now I know where to look when junk-yarding, as I use these modules in retrofits to little Black Turbocharged, AWD GMC Pick up trucks that were only produced in 1991.

Your Welcome,
I got the 2 volume factory shop manual for the 93 Buick Regal,
so if you need to know anything else let me know. I can even post
pics for wiring diagrams and stuff. Same thing applies to 97 Neon,
and the 61 and 64 Full size Chevrolets, I got those as well.
Later, Roger.
