Hi,
I've got a 2011 F150 that I've replaced the exterior cargo lights with a pair of Feniex Cannon LEDs (http://www.feniex.com/product.php?prod_id=391&tab=photo).
The problem is that the factory cargo light circuit fades on and off instead of simply turning on or off. This fading causes the cannons to blink or flicker as they turn on or off. I had my first pair of cannons die on me, and I believe its because of this fading caused flickering.
In an attempt to fix this issue, I wired a 12v relay to the circuit and to the lights. Now when the circuit fades on or off, the relay flutters. So now the issue is to stop this fluttering (its quite annoying and can catch you off guard).
I thought about using a capacitor on the inbound side of the relay, but I'm thinking that will only solve the "fade out" issue. When the "fade on" occurs, the relay would still flutter, right?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brandt

For 30 and 87 for your situation, 30 to power, 87 to the LEDs power wire. Ground the LEDs to a permanent ground.
