Verify that the chip in the 532 is programmed by holding the 532 next to a foil wrapped key and starting the truck. If it is programmed it will start and stay running.
Verify that the ground while running status wire is operating as well.
To master and control electricity is perfection. *evil laugh*

The ground while running seems to be fine. (the brown wire off of the unit)
The xk532 isn't programming when I try to program it with the keys. But, The 556U is the bypass that should be controlling the remote start. And it seems to be recognizing the remote start function, the starter is making a loud ticking sound, but won't turn over and fire the engine. I would think that if it was a bypass issue, it wouldn't even do that, or it would start, then shut off as if the key wasn't programmed?
And, none of this should effect the keylock functions? correct? The lock/unlock functions aren't working either. I think that's all the 532 was used for.
Again, this unit was installed in 2007. I know alot of technology has changed since then. I am just trying to get it back to working again.
May be time to visit a DEI installer.
