I have a 2003 ford mustang with a boa 265b remote entry/car starter system.I cannot figure out how to make the keyless entry feature work. More specifically I do not know how to wire it and do not want to damage anything splicing into wrong wire.
Here is information I gathered on it.
   POWER LOCK|lt. green  |+ |low in drivers kick or *1   |
     POWER UNLOCK|purple  |+ |low in drivers kick or |
      LOCK MOTOR|RED / white  |   |low in drivers kick or *1
     UNLOCK MOTOR|RED / orange |   |low in drivers kick or *1
There are two door trigger wires. Use yellow/black for the drivers door and gray/red for the passengers door. Both wires are found above the drivers kick panel in a 20 pin connector. Use both wires and diode isoate each. See direct fax document #1076 for wiring information.
How do I proceed to figure out how to connect my car properly to the unit?
Also I understand parking light are supposed to flash with this model but is it normal for instrument cluster to flash along with the parking lights?... I do not want to damage car but could not find any further info on this. Can anybody assist me with this?

The locks are type A, the install manual addresses the how to wire it.
How do I proceed to figure out how to connect my car properly to the unit? I hate to be cliche but RTM (Read the Manual)

The BOA systems are intended for the DIY'er and come with some in-depth instructions that you won't get with Professional install level systems. In theory you should be able to follow the manual and learn or figure out how to install it. If you read though it and it's like rocket science then I'd recommend having it or another system installed by a pro. This is especially true if you have never worked with 12v electrical before.
Also the 2003 Ford Mustang requires a PATS immobilizer bypass unit for remote start to work.
