I have a Viper 5806 alarm , everything is perfect except when my alarm is tripped the remote key fob is'nt very loud when pageing me and I want to turn up the volume so it would be loud enough to wake me up at night if somebody tampering with my car.
Can I make it louder?

Short of using a megaphone or some other external sound amplification device the answer would be no.

I don't own a smart start but I am wondering if that might be a solution here? It would play the notification through your smart phone. I do know it will be a bit delayed though.

If you can tolerate the system lag/delay that would be a way to throw money at the problem.

Sort of a side question. Can those units have more than one of the lcd remotes paired? I know on the avox 9801/997 you could only pair one 2way remote. Was thinking of suggesting pairing a 2nd remote and cutting it open to add a power supply and speaker... can i make the key fob louder? - Last Post -- posted image.

Easier to just tape or otherwise affix the remote to your ear.
You'd think a siren would be enough to alert people day or night, otherwise what's the point.

Just thinking to a highrise apartment or large complex with parking garage, in which case range would be an issue and a smart start is a better solution yet again. Ah I don't know the OP's situation or reasoning just going along the lines of IS it POSSIBLE? Yes. Anything is possible, but what are you willing to do or spend money on to accomplish the goal. Often times it is easier to modify the goal to suit the means.

How crazy does society where you live have to be where you have to wake up and go outside before someone is deterred by your car alarm making noise and flashing lights?
In hindsight, the 2-way remotes were never meant to be the primary notification method that they are often touted as. Volume isn't very loud or adjustable, and the remote doesn't notify you if your out of range to be notified your alarm is going off.
