Hi,my keyfob on my mazda5 2006 is not working and a replacement is to much money.i have bought a aftermarket keyless entry system but i cannot find what lock type i have.i have 9 wires coming from the lock but thw wiring diagram does not make it clear which ones are for the central locking.I have found a wire which unlocks the car when i earth it out

Not positive above the Euro models but...

Add a 1000 ohm resistor to your test ground ( earth ) link and hit that same wire that unlocks with a ground..  It should lock.  If that works and your aftermarket system has internal relays for the lock outputs, you should be all set.

Hi kreg357 ,i have managed to get the locking working but if i leave the car for about 30 mins it will not open with the remote.You can hear it trying to work.When i open it with the key and close again the remote works fine

Suggest you've taken your power supply from the wrong end of a sleeper circuit, try the constant feed to the ignition switch or fuse box.

Window switches are ignition controlled, go back, open a door and wait 30 minutes then test again, bet the wire you've chosen goes dead after a while.
What you can probably here are the internal lock/unlock relays clicking over, tells me poor power supply or earthing point.
Also worth a voltage check between 12V+ constant (which as I said before I believe is your problem) and your earthing point.
