I just installed this system in my wifes 2007 Ford Explorer. Everything is wired to Directed schematics. Once the install was done we programmed the dball firmware and programmed the keys to the dball. Now the door locks and unlock and trunk release all operate normally but the remote start does not. The led lights are not flashing with the RS button pushed. Has anyone had this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is your installation D2D or w2w between the r/s and the dball?
I believe the 4105 sometimes is shipped in esp mode and not d2d, you would have to switch is over to d2d if that's the case and you're connected d2d between the 2 modules. disconnecting power from the r/s and connecting the WHITE/ blue activation input to ground while reconnecting power will toggle between the 2 modes. If it flashes when power is connected, it changed to d2d.
If you're connected w2w I suppose you can ignore the previous paragraph.
If you're w2w then double check you have the BLACK/ white neutral safety wire to a good ground and you're hoodpin is not grounded.
Double check your status output on the r/s is connected to the ground when running or status input on dball.

They are hooked up d2d. I forgot to mention that. I will check that later today. Thank you. Also noticed that when using the remote the led on the dball does not flash when the lock function is pressed but it does with unlock and trunk. I don't know if that is related just trying to be detailed.

I tried grounding the activation input while plugging the power back into the r/s and now my viper is unresponsive. I get no lights and can't even reprogram. Did grounding that wipe out my viper
