I am trying to install the idatalink ADS-AL D2D mode. The manual provided on their website for a Sonata 2015 does not quite match the actual wiring of the car. I was just wondering if there was anybody on the forum who has had experience with installing this in a hyundai sonata 2015 model.
1. CANL and CANH needs to be connected to the module. According to idatalink wire cross reference chart, I should be looking for a yellow and black wire on the 33 and 34 position of the MF11 connector. There is no wire present at the position. There is also no such wire color found in MF11 connector. I am confused on where I should find this CANBUS wiring.

2. The Data wire needs to be connected. I should be looking for a blue/orange wire on pin 19 on connector name EM11. I see a blue/orange wire on pin 8 instead. I am assuming this is the data wire?

3. They actually got the brake status green wire in the correct pin.
Here are the reference diagrams that I used

The immobilized wire is blue/orange in cavity 19. It can be hard to identify the cavities the way the connectors are laid out. I show the CAN wires in a connector on the back of the fuse box. The will be the twisted set. Colors are correct.

Thanks for the tips sparkie!
1. i rechecked the immobilized wire (data according to idatalink) and here is a better picture. I still think the correct cavity is 8 but I don't want to break anything.

2. I dismantled the fusebox.

Unfortunately, they all have black and yellow wires to each harness and I couldn't find that particular BLACK / YELLOW twisted pair in the wiring to the back of the fusebox. Here is a picture of the connector attached to "E main"

I believe it is connector F in pins 9 and 10.

You are correct sparkie. Looks like I can send unlock and trunk open signal through the CAN bus. However, I am not able to lock door or read tach signal through D2D.

The tach issue is normal. Use a coil wire for tach. The door locks should work, but some Hyundais have some glitches. Check to see if the doors lock with all doors closed and if engine not running. Some models won't allow the doors to lock if the engine is running and a door open. You may have to hardwire the remote starter's lock or rearm output to pulse the lock wire from the inside door lock switch after remote start (white 32 pin plug in cavity 1 of fuse box - white wire).
