Dear fellow DIYers,
I never got D2D to work between my Prostart remote starter (acquired at Canadian Tire) and my DBALL2. I had to hook the wires directly.
Is this normal?
Thanks

Yes. The Prostate units don't support D2D.

Despite this being mentionned in the installation manual? :(
"Remote starters of this series have the ability to work in two way mode (D2D) with Xpresskit bypass modules"

I have done quite a few Prostarts and have never gotten D@D to work. I always hardwire the bypass module. I haven't done one for a couple of years so they may have changed. Check to see if the bypass type is programmable in the programming menus. The Autostart versions of those modules are programmable for bypass type.
