i installed a prostart remote starter in my acura mdx 2007 with evoall bypass. when i remote start it cranks but will not start. if i place the key in the ignition, it will start remotely. and once it is started i can remote the key and it stays on.
the evoall seemed to have programmed correclty. doorlocks.

You have to hardwire the EVOALL inputs and triggers. The Prostarts don't support D2D between the EVOALL and the remote start. Make sure to use the negative out when running from the remote start (white on 12 pin plug). The EVOALL also needs ignition. See the install manual for the EVOALL to connect 12volts and ground too.

I did not install the evoall as D2d, but I did connect the doorlocks from the prostart to the evoall , and that works, also connected the tach. wondering if the ignition may cuz that or the tach wire? before i start reworking the wires i want to be sure what can cause the 3 for 5 second crank. and what are the lights on the evoall what do they mean during a remote start procedure?

The ignition input and the ground when running are critical for the remote starter to work. The door locks will work without these connected though. The ground when running gets connected to the white wire in the remote starters 12 pin plug.
