Hi, new guy here. I've never installed a car alarm before.
I installed an Avital 3100L in an 87 K5 Blazer.   hooked this thing up to the T. The problem I'm having is the door locks are backwards. Arming unlocks them, un arming locks them.
Is it as easy as just swapping the wires? Everyone I talked to, everything I read and even tested isn't jiving with the function. And after a few cycles they just quit working. The directions said no extra parts were needed.
Thanks in advance.

I also meant to ask if I needed to add relays to the wires for the door locks.  They are factory.  I was a little crosseyed after installing the alarm.  Bifocals are a bitch at close range......
