Car: 2007 Mercury mountaineer
Hardware: Viper 4204 Remote Start / Xpresskit PKALL
I have the installation guide for both kits as well as a DirectWire print out for a 2007 Mountaineer.
Here is the Remote start wiring guide (i put at the end of each what I believe is correct).
4204V
H1/1 (red) (+) 12vdc constant input > Violet/red ignition harness
H1/2 (black) (-) chassis ground > ground by kick panel
H1/3 (brown) (-) 200mA horn honk output > Blue/white horn switch? as of right now not hooked up(horn is continuous)
H1/4 (WHITE/ brown) light flash isolation wire-87a light flash relay > do I use this?
H1/5 (white) pin 30 of light flash relay > Parking lights driver kick
H1/6 (orange) 500mA ground when armed output > do I use this?
H2/1 (pink/white) (-)200mA flex relay control output > do I use this?
H2/2 (BLACK/ white) (-) neutral safety input > Ground to chassis
H2/3 (blue/white) (-) 200mA 2nd status / rear defogger output > not used
H2/4 (GREEN/ black) (-) 200mA factory alarm disarm output > not used
H2/5 (RED / white) (-) 200mA trunk release output > brown driver kick
H2/6 (green) (-) door input > ???
H2/7 (BLACK / YELLOW) (-) 200mA dome light output > yellow/gray driver kick
H2/8 (empty)
H2/9 (dark blue) (-) 200mA status output > PKALL GWR
H2/10 (pink) (-) 200mA ignition 1 output > ???
H2/11 (WHITE/ black) (-) 200mA aux 3 output > not used
H2/12 (violet) (+) door input > same as dome
H2/13 (WHITE/ violet) (-) 200mA aux 1 output > not used
H2/14 (violet/black) (-) 200mA aux 2 output > not used
H2/15 (ORANGE / black) (-) 200mA aux 4 output > not used
H2/16 (brown) (+) brake shutdown input > violet/white brake switch
H2/17 (gray) (-) hood pin input (nc or no) > hood switch
H2/18 (violet / YELLOW) (-) 200mA starter output > not used
H2/19 (blue) factory horn input (use jumper to set ploarity) > ???
H2/20 (gray/black) (-) diesel wait to start input > not used
H2/21 (WHITE/ blue) activation input > not used
H2/22 (orange) (-) 200mA accessory output > not used
H2/23 (violet/white) tachometer input > coil pack wire.
H2/24 (GREEN / WHITE) (-) 200mA factory alarm arm output > not used
H3/1 (pink) (+) ignition 1 input/output > WHITE/ orange ignition switch
H3/2 (RED / white) +12v fused (30A) ignition 2/flex relay input > not used
H3/3 (orange) (+) accessory output > violet/green ignition harness
H3/4 (violet) (+) starter output > blue/white ignition harness
H3/5 (red) +12v fused (30A) ignition 1 input > violet/red ignition harness
H3/6 (pink/white) ignition 2/flex relay output > not used
H3/7 (pink/black) flex relay input 87a (if required) of flex relay > not used
H3/8 (RED / black) +12v fused (30A) accessory/stater input > violet/red ignition harness
Door Lock Harness
1 (blue) (-) 500mA unlock output > violet/gray driver kick
2 (empty)
3 (green) (-) 500mA lock output > gray / YELLOW driver kick
PKALL
PURPLE / White RX > PURPLE / white ignition switch
Yellow/Black TX > Yellow/orange ignition switch
Blue/White GWR > Dark blue 4204
Green > not used
Pink > WHITE/ orange ignition harness
Black > not used
Problems:
1. Horn is constant when i hook up the H1/3
2. Light on control center does not illuminate
3. Cannot program the PKALL
4. With the key in the cylinder, when i plug in the main harness the truck starts and cannot be turned off until I unplug the main harness.
Hopefully this can help others in the future as well. thank you in advance.

You symptoms don't sound good.  Could only find one obvious wiring error.

H2/7 (BLACK / YELLOW) (-) 200mA dome light output > yellow/gray driver kick

The Yellow/Gray wire is a (+) signal.  You will need a realy and fuse to convert the R/S's (-) Dome Lighjt output to a (+)
signal the Mountaineer can use.  Disconnect this wire for now and hope it didn't kill the R/S brain.

Soldering is fun!

H1/1 (red) (+) 12vdc constant input > Red (+) @ SJB. This is a 50 amp constant, better than the 12amp at the ignition harness.
H1/4 (WHITE/ brown) light flash isolation wire-87a light flash relay > not needed
H1/6 (orange) 500mA ground when armed output >not needed
H2/1 (pink/white) (-)200mA flex relay control output > not needed
H2/2 (BLACK/ white) (-) neutral safety input > Ground to chassis
H2/3 (blue/white) (-) 200mA 2nd status / rear defogger output > optional
H2/4 (GREEN/ black) (-) 200mA factory alarm disarm output > not needed
H2/5 (RED / white) (-) 200mA trunk release output > brown driver kick
H2/6 (green) (-) door input > not needed (not an alarm system)
H2/7 (BLACK / YELLOW) (-) 200mA dome light output > not needed
H2/9 (dark blue) (-) 200mA status output > PKALL GWR

the domelight wire error could have damaged the brain. try looking over your connections. It shouldnt just start and stay running unless you have stuck relays inside the unit. Give it a tap against your hand.
