I am looking at installing a car starter in my Infinity and was wondering if there is a best way of making connections. The quick connectors are appealing from the ease of use view-point but I have always felt that they were a temporary solution that would bit you in the end. Your comments/experience would be appreciated

Soldering is the way to go if you want to make a connection that will last longer then the car.
Quick connectors have proven to be unreliable over time.
Solder the wires together and then wrap with a high quality electrical tape (Scotch 33+).
And I'm pretty certain you have an Infiniti!

Please see at least the two threads above before posting, they go to great lengths explaining the advantages of soldering, it's called doing your research.

Soldering is the only method to use...quick connects are useless and problamatic...at my shop you won't find a single quick connect...solder and tightly tape like Kpierson said :).
Solder, tape, repeat!
