smartstart wires white/gray

I've searched the forums and can't figure out how to install my SmartStart module. I have a DSM-200 and a Viper 5706V installed on my 2003 F150. The 5706 works fine, and everything functions correctly. The instructions I've found online for the DSM-200 mention a white loop and a brown loop. My module doesn't have either loop, but it does have a white wire and a gray wire coming out of it. These aren't part of either connector. What are these for, and how do I hook them up? Thanks.

Did you hook up positive and negative on smart start? What port did you plug into on the remote start What are the communication lights on smart start doing

Plugged into the D2D port and hooked up the power wires. The orange LED is on steady. No green LED at all.

Ground the gray wire

Don't use the d2d port use the bit writer port on the end of the 5706 and don't ground the wires

X 2 with Pentavolvo, ignore the white and grey wires and us the black bitwriter port.
