Here is the information I have on the Orange wire on the 14 Pin harness labeled "Status / Anti-grind (-) Output:
Orange Wire - Status /Anti-grind (-) Output
BROWN / Red Wire - Brake Pedal (+) Input
REQUIRED. This input is a critical safety circuit which disables the remote start
operation whenever the brake pedal is pressed.
CONNECTION: Connect this to the brake switch wire that shows +12 volts when the
brake pedal is pressed.
This provides a 500mA negative output slightly before and during the large PINK
ignition wire’s operation.
CONNECTION: This is typically used to activate immobilizer bypass modules.
Connect it directly to the module’s activation input. It can also be used with a starter
interrupt relay for starter anti-grind operation.
I think this sounds right.
Any clue you can give me on the brown accessory wire as how to energize it. That is the last bit of info I need. Thank you so much.

kreg357,
Thanks to you I now have a fully working remote starter in my car. I read so much for the last month on this subject and learned a lot. I couldn't of done it without you. You have no idea how much you filled in the gaps for me. It took all day but in the end I have a very neat and professional looking system.
Thanks again

I'm currently doing an 05 Impala and this information has been very helpful. Just have one question, how do I trigger the rear window defroster?
