I'm running a Compustar CM6200 with an iDatalink ADS ALCA bypass wired d2d in my 2013 Dodge Avenger. I'm thinking about adding a Drone Mobile DR3100, but with the d2d already in use, that presents a problem. Can I add the Drone with a Y cable between the bypass and the CM6200? I haven't been able to find a definitive answer after searching online.
Thanks

I think my only other options would be to upgrade to one of the new 7 series controllers, or go W2W with the 6 series I already have and use the data port exclusively for the Drone. The later I don't really consider an option because I depinned the harnesses on the controller. It would be too much of a pain to put the wires back and wire everything up. Call me lazy, but I'd rather just buy one of the new controllers. lol

surprised i didn't see this post before. creating a Y connection is no problem.
This is what you will have to do, cut off the datalink plug, directly connect power and ground to the large gauge wires, then proceed to match the blue and white data wires. the datalink can only supply so much current (not enough for 2 data devices).
