I am trying to program the remotes so they start the vehicle. I'm not sure why its not working. The led in the module doesn't come when i press the valet button and run through the remote program, so I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

double check your ignition to ensure it is infact an ignition wire.

Ok, I checked the ignition and I am getting 12v at the pink wire of the harness with key turned to the last click. I also checked the starter (12v) when started and both the high current 12v inputs. all check out good. I have a good ground as well.
Is there something I am missing?

What is your process of programming? are you turning the ignition on, tapping the valet button once then pressing and holding?

Turns out it was a defective module. It was a refurb and was defective out of the box. I got a brand new one on the exchange and it works like it should.
Thanks for your help guys!
