What wires did you grab in the ignition harness? It sounds like you are missing an Ignition and/or Accessory wire. I almost always power all of the wires that the key powers. You may have three ignition wires and an accessory wire. Test all of the heavy gauge wires in the main ignition harness and hook them up accordingly.
Did you install an anti-grind relay?

make sure this wire is hook up when remote start. my note sayin that its not necessary for remote start, so it had to be for ac/heater and blower.

The BLACK/ orange is the correct wire for the heater.

No I did not install an anti-grind relay. I am not so much worried about the heater blower as I am with the battery drain.

Ok, Here goes. I installed a Audiovox  As 9075 remote start unit on my van. Now overnight, the battery goes dead. I replaced the battery, the alternator is putting out around 14.18 volts. I put a 12 volt test light between the neg post and the neg battery cable and the light comes on. i pulled each fuse from under the dash one at a time and the light never goes out. I pulled each fuse from the fuse box under the hood and the light never goes out EXCEPT when I pull the IOD memory fuse. The dealership said this a shipping fuse, they pull it to kill all power to the accesories so the battry doesn't go dead during shipping.  What else do I need to check???   I also had alll the wire harnesses disconnected from the remote start unit when I did the above check.  HELP!!! Please!!!

So did you unplug the RS and it still goes dead? Now I know you said you unplugged it for your test, but try unplugging it for a few days. If it still goes dead, then check all of your connections to make sure they are taped up well, it sounds like there could be a short somewhere.

ok, I have removed the radio, the glovebox lightbulb and the ashtray lightbulb. The Remote Start module is completely removed from the van, (I still have the wire harnesses wired up they just aren't plugged in to the module. There are no interior lights on, I don't have a underhood light that could be staying on.UMMM what else should I check??
