Behind the rear right panel above the wheelwell. Why do you need this information?

well, to change the radio in this car, i needed to bypass the amp since there are only 3 wires going to the stock radio!

thanks for the info, i ended up running new wires anyway to each speaker.

That's why I was asking. I was going to tell you that my company has a wiring harness just for this vehicle to allow you to use the factory amps and not have to run any wires. It is Metra part# 70-7003. It uses the DIN plug for preamp signal to the amps.

It is a new part that has only been out for about 6 months. It's too new for the catalog and like most of our special harness', it is not online. That is one reason why I am on this forum. To tell as many people about these time saving special harness'  that I can.

Hi Metra Tech,

Can you explain a little more about the 70-7003? I was a little confused on your statement of the DIN plug. Are you just telling us that the DIN will be plugged into the factory amp? Do you have a pic of this product? When installing this product do you have to plug this harness into the amp or behing the head unit? Thanks for the info.
