I'm thinking of adding a 7" lcd screen in my Jeep Cherokee and i was wondering what needs to be hooked up, What wires will be included and what do they connect to? Basically looking for a basic description on what i'll need to do for the install.

Depends where you're putting your screen and what comes with it.  Basically you need audio and video cables running between your source (IE dvd player) then you'll need get audio to your head unit.  FM modulator or if you have a Changer control on your cd player, you can buy an adaptor to plug directly into that.  The screen itself will need power and ground like any other accessory.  The unit may have a safety built in that needs to be wired to the parking brake so that it will only operate when the parking brake is engaged.  This can also be by-passed depending on how your going to install the unit.

Try to give more details about what you have and what you want to do.

take a look at a post in this forum entitled "Question about Ebay!"

I've purchased screens and Dvd players from ebay with no problems.  just make sure you take your time shopping and buy from a reputable seller.

I bought and installed a 10.4 legacy flip down screen in a navigator. It was ordered from ebay and it works fine..for the money its great.
He just uses it for the kids..and they dont care what name is on it, as long as it plays cartoons :)
It was less than 300 bux and hes had it for about 8 months with no probs.
With a torch and a big enough hammer...it WILL friggin fit!!
