Hi, a friend of mine wants me to put a starter in his 04 Cadillac CTS.  I have done plenty of starters, but never one of these, and because it's a brand new and expensive car, I would like to know what is involved before saying yes.

I have never done Passlock III, is it as simple as II?  Any wire diagrams available for the 2004 model?  I could only find up to the 2003, or are they the same?

Thanks, any info is appreciated...

The trunk release is a lt. blue wire (-) located pin B4, brown plug at RIM (Rear Integration Module) is on the passenger side rear deck. Not sure on the locks though, I looked it up, and I got ORANGE / black (-) door lock switch in driver door for both lock and unlock.
For passkey III, you can just use a 556U immobilizer bypass.

I just finished one of these. Use GMDL-BP. it integrates the door locks, factory alarm, trunk and passkey 3+. If you need horn wire its tan on module under glove box. Brake wire is white and it says you can get it at brake switch. Good luck. I ran a wire to the rear of the car after checking every white wire in front of the car. Constant high current must go to the battery. -park lights at headlight switch brown\white. When you use this mod no key to get, no ring to mount and no wires have to go into the doors. $50K car the less you take apart the better.
