I am looking to install a remote keyless entry system into my 2005 f150 stx. I need to find a 12v and a negative to connect this set up too. Which one of this mess of wires do you recommend me connecting to?

I havent yet installed my alarm system in my truck but i recommend to get your hands on a multimeter and measure the voltage of some red wires which power 12V consistently when the engine is on and off (w/ and w/out the door open).  I am sorry I cant be some more help but i am still a newb and have only done this a couple of times.  If anyone else knows of a better way please post.  But as for right now, that is what i have always done it.

most keyless entry systems will require you to connect to the ignition wire and the constant wire..  so light GREEN/ purple and dk.blue/green

ground a piece of metal and door locks....

undash panel on that truck just pulls out using the handles and swind out to release the clips at the bottom.
