I work in a starter repair/rebuild shop, and ironically, we don't do remotes. I recently bought a 1999 Dodge Caravan with the Astroflex series 120 Astrostart system, P/N 310-126-101. It worked fine for a while, then the van refused to start on the key, but starts fine with the remote.  A dash-mounted led flashes continuously when the key is on. (It didn't used to.)  At the same time, I had a brake light out, but fixing it did not help the starting problem.  (Thanks for the tip Jeff.) . Astroflex has not responded to my request for info.  Can anyone help?

In return  I can maybe help out with any alternator or starter motor questions...

Is there a remote control option on this unit that you can engage the starter disable ? I know I have installed units that you can control this function with the remote control instead of automatically.

That's entirely possible Jeff, I've emailed the maker and asked for an owner's manual, but they haven't reponded.  There is a bunch of hieroglyphics on the back of the remote that tell you pushing certain buttons in combination will do different things, but I can't decipher the symbols.

Send me an email with your fax # to player69dss@hotmail.com I will fax you installation and owners manuals.  I will also need to know whether it has 8 or 9 dip switches as there was a 126 and 126a.
