I have a customer who came to me with a popping sound when he turns on his deck and a pop when he turns it off..
I told him i thaught it was because it was a flea market brand... Is there any other reason for this?? Or how can I fix his problem???
Any help appreciated... thanks

What kind of amp is it? Most amps now have the soft turn-on built in. You might have to get a delay to put in the turn-on wire to the amp. Check the gain and make sure that he don't have it too high also.

Can't remember the name of the amp, but I will call him and check on the gain..setting..
Do they sell something for the soft turnon... I know that most newer amps come with them built in but if i remember correctly there is something you can buy..?

Check your ground and make sure that it is free of any paint or rust. Try changing the ground to a different location.
